Mantra for Inner Peace Through the Busy Holidays

Every year it happens. And, every year we’re never quite prepared. When you have kids, the first signs are all the Christmas lists casually left out so you’ll find them.

Uh oh. Will peace be found on the other side of all this shopping?

Yesterday, I recorded the mantra for inner peace I’ve been practicing. I also laid it over binaural gamma waves to reinforce those peaceful, easy feelings. You can have it down below.

Please share it with anyone who could use it. The words, and teachings behind it are below.

It’s such a cliche to be stressed out during the holiday season, when everyone is singing songs about silent night and peace.

And every year, there’s another war raging on somewhere in the world. This year it’s Iran and the Ukraine. Unjust, heartbreaking wars you wish never needed to be fought.

And here we are. Where will we find peace?

I always come back to realization that if any peace is truly going to be found, we must (defiantly) create it for ourselves.

The purpose of my book Permission to Glow— A Spiritual Guide to Epic Leadership  is peace. Because, peace is what all of us crave yet are unsure how to ask for.

In Permission to Glow, I discuss that giving ourselves each of The 4 Permissions helps us achieve inner peace at all 4 levels.

I recently turned this into a mantra— or repeated affirmation, which quickly became a melody for a chant. If we can sing it to ourselves, it can more easily get into our hearts, our minds, and connect with our souls.

Our soul lives in a joyous peace. We just need to get through the layers of mind and body static to find it.

Are you ready to create a little more peace as you move through the next few weeks?

Mantras remind us what we most to hear.

When I practice mantras, the repetition reminds me that if I’m not willing to say it to myself— no one else will do it for me.

Lyrics

I’m at peace

…with whatever shows up now to test me

I’m at peace

…with what wells up in my heart to guide me

I’m at peace
…with whatever the world might ask of me

I’m at peace
I’m at peace
I’m at peace

I’m at peace
